Irish Festival Volunteering
🍀 Dublin Jerome Girls’ Soccer largest fundraising event (Sharing of the Green) is kicking off today. Each year the boosters volunteer to serve beer at one of the Dublin Irish Festival’s beer trucks. The 2019 location is at the Southeast Entrance truck (same as last year).
Mandatory for girls trying out for Jerome Girls Soccer Program to sign up for at least one shift/one volunteer per family. This is our biggest fundraising event. We have 37 shifts to cover that weekend and will need to have our shifts fully staffed. Our goal is to get all the shifts covered in the next few weeks - so we can all relax and enjoy the summer - and not get reminder emails.
This is a fun event – The hardest part is learning how to pour a Guinness correctly. Our volunteers will check ids, collect tokens, and serve beer – so they need to be 21 or older.
